Roland has earned a M.Sc. in theoretical physics from the University of Berne , and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry with a specialization in mathematical modelling and computer simulation from ETH. For over a decade he worked as a business architect in the reinsurance industry, designing models, business processes and software systems for pricing, internal models, economic scenario generation, and operational risk, including positions at Swiss Re, Converium and Scor. Noticing the lack of standard software in this area, Roland founded Systemorph to provide an agile software platform serving the needs of the financial industry for managing their business data. After the restructuring of the company in early 2024 he is driving the Meshweaver project which came out of Sytemoroph and is the Open Source project of the company.

Markus helds an MBA from the University of St.Gallen in Business Administration and has been working for the Financial Services Industry for more than 30 years. He held positions at Microsoft, SAP, Digital Equipment (HP), additiv and Arthur Andersen in various fields of activites. (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Adminstration)

With his broad and comprehensive experience he supported to drive the growth of Systemorph from the financial, sales, business development and admin side until the restructuring in the beginning of 2024.

In the ‘new’ Systemorph he supports the founder to spread the news of the open sourced Meshweaver Technology and ensures that from an administrative and finance side everything works smoothly.
